De nieuwe Peugeot Quark

Hebben jullie de nieuwe ''quad'' van peugeot gezien de quark genaamd
zeg maar wat jullie ervan vinden
Dit is wat hun erover vertellen:
A science fiction world.
Straight out of our dreams, the “Quark” is an attractive, seductive vehicle with a dynamic, technical style. With its face to the future and the environment, it reflects the Group’s research into fuel cell technology, within the ideas of Taxi PAC and H 2O.
The creation of this vehicle and the technologies employed for this concept car were guided by different themes such as the hydrogen stock, traffic jams, freedom and everyday use.
The urge to simplify and miniaturize fuel cell technology has given rise to a small, racy, high tech and unusual vehicle.
To work, a fuel cell needs hydrogen and oxygen. The oxygen is drawn from the air, whereas the hydrogen is stocked on board in gas, liquid or chemical form.
Mixing the hydrogen and oxygen creates an electrochemical reaction causing a movement of electrons, which produce simultaneously water, heat and especially electricity.
As a continuation of Taxi PAC and H 2O, the Quark operates in “range extender » mode, which is to say « an electric vehicle with extended operation”. The energy released from the hydrogen also tops up the electrical energy of the batteries.
